Cineaster is a lightweight cutscene creator for Unity that streamlines the process of creating cinematic sequences. Built on top of Cinemachine, it provides an intuitive Scene View interface for managing virtual cameras, editing dolly tracks, and composing takes without the need to constantly enter Play mode. Camera Management

Powerful camera system integrated with Cinemachine. Switch between multiple virtual cameras, adjust framing, and create smooth transitions effortlessly.
Dolly Track System

Create complex camera movements with visual dolly tracks. Edit paths directly in the scene, adjust speed curves, and preview motion in real-time.
Takes & Sequencing

Create cinematic takes easily and test them instantly using the integrated player buttons, without needing to run the scene. Build sequences by chaining multiple Takes on the same camera or seamlessly transitioning between different cameras.
Trigger Area System

Define precise activation zones to start your cutscenes based on collision and layers. The system distinguishes between enabling the area and triggering the action, giving you full control over the timing of execution.
Controllers

A powerful set combining Controller Path and Controller Target. Draw complex spline paths snapped to the terrain and make objects or characters follow these routes via Timeline or automatic execution, with full control over orientation and speed.
